TAYLOR SWIFT HAS dropped multiple hints about her headspace throughout the week since her Joe Alwyn breakup made news. But Swift gave her most blunt answer yet during one of her Tampa, Florida concerts on her Eras tour. One Swift fan revealed on TikTok that another fan in the audience raised a sign that said “You ok?” while Swift was performing “Delicate.” The track, of course, is one of Swift’s many about Alwyn and their romance.
Swift raised her thumb up, and the fan lowered the sign. The sign itself is a reference to Swift’s “You Belong With Me” music video when Swift raised a sign saying the same thing to her love interest in the video, making it a particularly poignant moment. The TikTok footage is understandably taking off on social media and getting news coverage.
Swift’s thumbs up is just her latest signal that she is doing okay following the private end of her and Alwyn’s six-year romance last month. In the last two weeks alone, Swift has publicly gone out with friends, worn bejeweled butterflies symbolizing rebirth, performed three shows, posted on Instagram about how much she has loved her tour, been seen filming a music video in Liverpool and leaving a recording studio in New York City, and has generally put her energy into her tour, fans, and career.

In fact, a source told Entertainment Tonight on April 11 that Swift initiated the breakup with Alwyn in March and has since been keeping busy with work. “Taylor and Joe are in totally different places in their lives right now,” the source started. “It was more of Taylor’s decision to break up, but both of them realized that they weren’t completely right for one another. They had been together for such a long time and were spending so much time together, but their personalities were just too different. Joe is more introverted, shy and quiet.”
The source continued, “She’s very focused on touring and her career right now. Taylor has nothing but respect for Joe and really loved and enjoyed all the time and memories she shared with him. They had a deep connection and she really appreciated that. She hopes they can be friendly in the future.”
