How to Watch ‘Ghosted’ – Where to Stream Chris Evans and Ana de Armas Movie

Following his departure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Chris Evans has been having all kinds of fun playing roles that stray far outside of the superhero archetype he fulfilled for more than a decade as Captain America. First there was Ransom Drysdale, the rich douchebag extraordinaire of Knives Out. Then there was Lloyd, the psychopathic assassin in The Gray Man.

In his latest movie, he’s playing a dude in distress.

Evans has reunited with his Knives Out co-star Ana de Armas for Ghosted, an action comedy about a guy who decides to try and surprise the woman who left him on read by flying halfway around the world to surprise her… only to learn she is actually a spy on a life-or-death mission.

Ghosted echoes the premise of the classic 1994 spy comedy True Lies, in which Arnold Schwarzenegger’s double life as a government operative causes increasingly high-stakes complications in his marriage to Jamie Lee Curtis. The same broad premise was similarly explored in the more recent Knight & Day, which brought together the star power of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz for more secret agent action and romance.

The formula has been updated and rejigged a little for Ghosted, with the gender roles flipped: here, it’s de Armas’ character Sadie that is the international action hero (following on from her standout fight scene in No Time to Die and upcoming John Wick spinoff Ballerina), and Evans plays the normie Cole who winds up entangled in a global conspiracy as a result of his ill-fated romantic gesture.

How and where can I watch Ghosted?

Despite the A-list casting of Evans and de Armas, Ghosted has not been given a wide release in theaters. Instead, it is available to watch exclusively on AppleTV+, meaning you will need an account to stream the movie—which is on the platform right now.
