Showtime’s popular series Yellowjackets is coming back for Season 2. For anyone unaware, the show follows a ’90s high school soccer team whose plane crashes on their way to Nationals. They’re stranded for 14 months, and not everyone survives. The show follows the girls before, during, and after the life-changing event, and reveals a number of mysteries along the way. Plus, the show’s music is pretty memorable.
That’s not even mentioning the stars. Melanie Lynskey and Christina Ricci play two of the various adult versions of the teens, and up-and-coming actresses like Ella Purnell, Courtney Eaton, and Scream VI‘s Jasmin Savoy-Brown make up the younger versions of other characters. The show is a certified hit for Showtime, taking the crown for the second-most streamed series in the premium network’s history, according to Variety.
Season 1 only gave us a taste of the wild, surprising, and freaky experiences the girls have in the woods, plus all the goings on when they’re adults. There’s still a lot of unanswered questions, like who survived the crash and who didn’t? And what exactly went on while the group was stranded? And is there as much cannibalism as there really seems to be? There’s no telling what Season 2 will throw at us.
Due to the popularity of the show on both streaming and linear air, Yellowjackets will have a different release rollout for Season 2 than it did in Season 1. But don’t be alarmed: it’ll be easier than ever before to watch the show. Here’s how to tune in.
How to Watch Yellowjackets
In a major shift in the show’s release schedule (originally it premiered on Showtime and the Showtime Anytime app simultaneously on Sunday nights), the show will premiere on Fridays on both Showtime Anytime and Paramount+ with Showtime, the new combined streaming service for Viacom and Showtime properties. Then, the show will premiere as usual live on television two days later, airing Sunday nights at 9:00 PM.

How to Stream Yellowjackets
Yellowjackets will premiere on March 24 on the Showtime Anytime app or on Paramount+ with Showtime.
