Lady Gaga Rushed to Help During 2023 Oscars Red Carpet Incident and Fans Are Applauding Her

LADY GAGA CERTAINLY knows how to turn the phrase “fashionably late” at the 2023 Oscars red carpet.

The songstress dressed to impress at this year’s 95th Academy Awards, where the multi-hyphenate was nominated for Best Original Song for her Top Gun: Maverick track. (The award ultimately went to “Naatu Naatu” from RRR, the first song from an Indian movie to win the best original song Oscar.)

Despite arriving late, Lady Gaga took a moment to lend a hand to a photographer who fell down on the carpet. The moment happened as she gracefully made her way to the ceremony, waving to spectators. As she walked away, a loud commotion could be heard. She immediately noticed, turned and rushed to help the person up.

Fans praised the Oscar nominee after the clip was posted on Instagram. “She’s a real one ❤️,” one person wrote in the comments. “One more reason to love her ❤️,” another added. “She didn’t even hesitate! ????????????????,” a different user said.

It all follows after rumors swirled that the A Star is Born actress wouldn’t be able to attend the Oscars. Reports said the superstar’s filming schedule for the Joker sequel would keep her from performing.

Earlier in the day, news broke that she’d perform her Oscar-nominated song “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick.
