‘Sex/Life’ Season 3 – Cast, Release Date, Plot, News and More

Sex/Life recently returned to Netflix for Season 2, bringing with it more steamy sexual encounters, full-frontal male nudity, and some truly wild plot twists. Many fans of the racy relationship drama have already binged every episode, and are craving more installments of the erotic adventures of Billie.

Here’s what we know about the future of Sex/Life.

Will Sex/Life be back for Season 3?

A third season of the drama series has yet to be confirmed by Netflix, and the majority of the characters’ entangled storylines in the show were given a resolution throughout the course of Season 2, but that season finale ended on a cliffhanger revelation which left the door open for more drama: after reuniting with her ex-boyfriend Brad (Adam Demos), Billie (Sarah Shahi) is now pregnant.

What will Season 3 be about?

As showrunner Stacy Rukeyser explains, the show was never meant to end after just two seasons: she very much has a vision for Season 3, which would see the characters adjusting to living as a blended family (Brad is already father to one child by his wife Gigi).

“It’s definitely not intended to be a series finale,” Rukeyser told Variety. “I believe there are always more stories to tell with these characters… We’d also be back to that prime question from Season 1, which is, can you have sex and life all at the same time, especially as a new mom.”

Who would be in the cast of Season 3?

The characters in this show are so intwined by sex, love and betrayal that it’s likely we’ll see them all return should Sex/Life be renewed. The primary players are Sarah Shahi as Billie, Mike Vogel as her husband Cooper, Adam Demos as her ex-turned-lover Brad, Margaret Odette as Sasha, Cleo Anthony as Kam, Wallis Day as Gigi, and and Jonathan Sadowski as Devon.

When will Season 3 be released?

Season 2 of Sex/Life was announced in August 2021, two months after the first season began streaming, and viewers had to wait another year and a half before new episodes dropped on Netflix. So it’s safe to say that, should the streaming giant commission Season 3, we’re in for a bit of a wait.
