Cole Sprouse showed up on everyone’s fave podcast Call Her Daddy the other day, and for reasons that remain extremely confusing, he decided to smoke a cigarette throughout. And while we can all agree smoking is bad (don’t smoke, kids!), we can also agree that some people pull off smoking better than others. And Cole, bless, is not one of them, as Twitter was all too happy to point out. And genuinely the tweets will leave you crying. Like, you tried Cole! Witness:
Anyway, flirtatious smoking fail aside, Cole’s interview wasn’t all that bad. He spoke about a wide range of topics, including his “really hard” split from Lili Reinhart.
“I think the work thing got difficult because it was hard to suspend all the way we felt about each other,” he explained. “And it didn’t afford us the distance to really overcome that.”
Cole added, “I know we both did quite a bit of damage to each other. We’re good friends now, which is awesome. We work really well together now.”
Reminder: Cole and Lili announced their split in August 2020, when Cole wrote on Insta, “Lili and I initially separated in January of this year, deciding to more permanently split in March. What an incredible experience I had, I’ll always feel lucky and cherish that I had the chance to fall in love. I wish her nothing but the utmost love and happiness moving forward. All I’ll say about it, anything else you hear doesn’t matter.”
