Where to Buy the Gucci Sneakers Jeremy Strong Wore in ‘Succession’

ASSUMING YOU don’t live under a rock, you know that Succession returned with its season four premiere on HBO last night. And, assuming you tuned in (what the hell were you doing if you didn’t?), you saw the Roys—along with their allies and enemies—return with some understated, luxurious looks befitting of billionaires.

Take Kendall Roy, for instance, who has sported a good number of designer pieces over the years. A Loro Piana baseball hat here, a green sweater and diamond chain that costs more than a year of your rent there. When Kendall is in “fuck-you-Dad” mode (which is often) and out of his suit and tie, he dresses down with elegant, luxurious pieces, like the sick Gucci sneakers he wore in last night’s season premiere.

Kicked back and relaxed (or at least appearing so) against the sofa, Kendall’s Gucci kicks say, “I’m cool as hell, and stylish, too.” The Gucci Run Sneakers, with a chic knit fabric and monogram sole, come with the distinctive Roy heir air that doesn’t miss a beat in selling itself as something you have to have—after all, how can you be fresh and in-the-know without ’em?

If the Roys have taught us anything over the years, it’s not how to successfully run a business, but instead, how to successfully look like you run a business. Dress for success! These are the sneakers that speak for themselves; even if your world is falling apart, at least you’ve got some dope kicks on. And if they’re stylish enough to be approved by a Roy—arguably the most fashionable family on television, especially when it comes to lowkey luxury—then they’ve got our seal of approval, too.

While the green colorway Kendall wears is no longer available online (leave it to a Roy sibling to take something that the rest of us can’t get our hands on), Gucci has a blue pair that’s just as cool, if not a little more wearable and versatile than Kendall’s. Take a cue from the man himself, though, and wear these to your next business meeting, or family coup—they’re basically one and the same, really.
