“A refreshing apple cucumber smoothie with protein is the perfect way to start your day,” says Burdeos of this easy-to-make and filling smoothie.
What You’ll Need:
1 cup milk
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 apple, cored and cubed
1 cup cucumber, chopped
1/2 avocado
1/2 cup ice
Optional: 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey or 1 to 2 chopped dates, 1 to 2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger, 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
How to Make It:
1. Add all the ingredients to the blender. If your blender has instructions on a specific order of how to add ingredients, follow those.
2. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and garnish with optional ground ginger. Serve immediately.
