Victoria Beckham just shared a photo of her husband, soccer star David Beckham, in celebration of his birthday. And because she knows what the internet wants, she selected an appropriately thirsty pic to see in his 48th year.
“Let’s all celebrate @davidbeckham!!” she wrote in the caption for the image, in which David poses in just his underwear, dripping wet in a pool, adding: “You’re welcome!”
It’s not the first time Victoria has shared an appreciation post for David and his physique. In fact, in addition to joining him for regular couples workouts, she has quite the penchant for capturing “candid” cheeky moments where his strong glutes are on display.
David may have retired from the world of professional soccer in 2013, but he still works out like an athlete. Last year, David shared a look at the training routine and diet plan that he uses to stay in shape in his late 40s.
“My weekly routine is, you know, I get up to do the school run, and then I get the workout in and go into the office,” he said. I could never keep up with the level of the workouts I was doing when I was playing professional football. And obviously, I’m getting older now as well.” While cycling and lifting are both components in his training regiment, he says that team sports are still his favorite way to stay fit. “I need to train with people,” he said. “I’m not very good at training on my own, so I need to be motivated by people in a community environment.”
