Throughout his near-50-year-long career, Sylvester Stallone has become one of the most recognizable action stars in the world. To many film lovers, he is synonymous with the roles of Rocky Balboa and John Rambo, lead characters he has played in multiple movies since the late ’70s. He then cemented his status as action cinema’s godfather with the more recent Expendables franchise before moving onto the small screen, where he is now playing mobster Dwight Manfredi in Tulsa King.
Stallone’s latest project, however, marks a pretty drastic departure from his usual fare: reality television. The actor’s new unscripted show, The Family Stallone, has a similar premise to hits like The Osbournes and Keeping Up With the Kardashians, with cameras following Stallone, his wife Jennifer Flavin, and their daughters, Sistine, Sophia, and Scarlet.
In addition to accompanying Stallone on some of his work-related activities, the show promises to explore what family life looks like—and how hard dating can be—when the head of the household is one of pop culture’s most famous tough guys. And on top of all the family drama, the trailer for The Family Stallone teases some cameo appearances from some of Stallone’s famous friends, including movie stars Al Pacino and Dolph Lundgren.
