After three weeks of living life with this partner, each person then got back into their original couple before deciding if they truly wanted to get married. The first season of the show saw multiple shocking, makeups, breakups, and even a love triangle, and fans were happy with both the entertainment value of the show, but also the fact that it was focusing on queer couples.

Additionally, since The Ultimatum: Queer Love is under the umbrella of the ultimatum, Netflix could decide to break out the show into its own universe, or it could continue to stay under the umbrella of The Ultimatum making the next season, technically a season three.
