PRIME DAY is finally here. The 48-hour savings event starts today July 11th and run through July 12th. And even though last year’s Prime Day was the most successful yet—U.S.-based Prime members bought more than 60,000 items per minute during the event in 2022—we’re already seeing signs Prime Day 2023 will out-perform on multiple fronts.
For starters, Amazon is rolling out a new invite-only deals layout where Prime members can request an invitation to secure specific deals on July 11th. Amazon has already released a few deals members can try and gain an invitation for, like this Amazon Fire TV 43″ Omni Series 4K for literally $99 (75% off), and this Bulova Men’s Marine Star 6-Hand Quartz Chronograph watch for just $180 (60% off). All you have to do to request an invite for each sale is go to their product page and click on the “Request Invite” button under the buying option that states “Available by Invitation.”

Prime Day 2023 also includes exciting new deals from many of our favorite brands. Right now there’s one insane deal happening as we speak: Beats Studio 3 Headphones are on sale for a massive 54% off—their lowest price recorded on sale in 2023. We also spotted our best electric razor we’ve tested, the Braun Series 9 Pro on a rare $60 off sale. And if you’re looking for a home gym upgrade, we’ve even located an awesome deal on one of our best tested treadmills, the Bowflex T22 for $600 off. Just a reminder about all these incoming deals: Prime Day is only open to Prime members, so make sure to sign up for a Prime membership prior to the event if you have yet to do so.
You can take the hard route and keep hitting refresh on Amazon’s homepage on July 11th, or you can check out our Prime Day hub here, where we’ll be constantly updating our existing sales roundups on the best fitness, clothing, tech, and home deals. Lucky for you, we’ve been rounding up many of our favorite deals happening right now. Keep scrolling to view all the latest sales and find discounts on products.

What Is Amazon Prime Day?
Prime Day is an annual 48-hour deal event exclusively for Amazon Prime Members only. According to Amazon, the first prime day was held on July 15, 2015, as a “way to celebrate Prime members on Amazon’s 20th birthday.” Prime Day fluctuates in dates every year, but Prime Day typically occurs sometime in mid-July. Prime Day includes deals on everything from fashion, electronics, fitness equipment, home, and more.
When Is Amazon Prime Day 2023?
Per the official press release, Amazon’s annual two-day savings and shopping event will kick off on July 11 (today) and run through July 12. This year’s Prime Day event is different than in years past, as Amazon will be offering an all-new invite-only deals program, where Prime members can “request an invitation to access exclusive Prime Day deals that are expected to sell out” according to the press release.
Why Prime Day 2023 Is Going to Be Different This Year
For the first time since Amazon Prime Day started back eight years ago, Amazon announced Prime Day 2023 will have a members-only invitation deals program. We are not exactly sure what that will look like, but it appears Amazon will be making sure Prime members get invitation-only access to some of the most exclusive deals happening on July 11th and 12th this year.
On top of this new invite-only deals program, Amazon is also name-dropping a ton of exciting brands that we can expect deals from. One of those brands includes Alo Yoga, a personal favorite athleisure brand for us at Men’s Health. Other brands named include other MH-favorites like Yeti, Sony, Bose, and Theragun. HeyDude shoes will also be on a major sale, so if you’re looking for comfortable slip-on shoes for summer you’re going to want to get a pair of these.
How Often Is Prime Day?
Prime Day only happens once per year, so it’s important to really hone in on the deals that will be happening at the 48-hour event. Prime Day is different than sales events during Black Friday and Labor Day weekend, as Amazon sneaks in so many flash sales that many of the best deals fly under the radar until someone spots them. We’re talking sales on all Amazon categories here—and that’s a lot of products!
Will Everything Be Cheaper on Prime Day This Year?
We can’t definitively say every single product will be cheaper than you’ve ever seen before, but essentially all of Amazon’s product categories will be holding sales. Prime members have access to thousands of markdowns on bestselling products in home gym equipment, gadgets, luggage, cookware, furniture, and more. Expect to see generous sales on big-ticket items such as furniture, TVs, and laptops, as well as smaller gift-able items such as headphones, books, and underwear too.
Is Prime Day Only for Prime Members?
Yes, Prime Day sales are exclusive to Prime members. You can sign up here if you’re ready to make that commitment. Also: Amazon is offering 30-day trials for new customers, just in case you’re not ready to pay full price.
How Much Is Does Amazon Prime Cost in 2023?
A Prime subscription is $14.99 a month, or $139 per year. While that end-of-year number may sound like a lot, you do get a bang for your buck. On top of exclusive access to Prime Day deals (including loads of Prime Day fitness deals), you also get two to same-day shipping on select items, free movies, TV shows, and magazines.
Prime members enjoy free trials to GrubHub+ and Amazon Music too, along with major deals on Amazon’s in-house brands (think: Alexas, Kindles, and Fire TVs).
