‘Outlander’ Fans Are Speechless Over Sam Heughan’s ‘Men in Kilts’ Thirst Trap Video

Sam Heughan has been known to show off a seductive side as Jamie Fraser on Outlander. But it looks like he does the same thing in real life, thanks to a surprise video shared on social media.

The actor’s docuseries Men in Kilts aired its season 2 premiere on August 11, and the show’s official Instagram has been showing off snippets of Sam’s adventures in New Zealand with co-star Graham McTavish. Well, in a clip posted on August 15, fans saw the duo get into a new kind of hijinks as they prepare to dive into a body of water while onboard a small yacht.

As the two dress down to their swimsuits, the camera pans to focus on Sam’s shirtless form and the pineapple-patterned Speedo he wore for the excursion. As he begins to worry about what the day will bring, viewers see Graham focusing on his friend’s attire in a hilarious moment.

“New trend alert: pineapple swim bottoms,” reads the post’s cheeky caption.

While the surprise snippet was clearly meant to showcase a funny conversation between Sam and Graham, many fans couldn’t get over Sam’s unintentional thirst trap.

“He knows what he is doing. He knows he is responsible for a few sudden heart attacks,” one person wrote in the comments on Instagram. “Only Sam could pull that off!!” another agreed. “How many times have you watched this? … yes ????,” a different follower rejoiced.

This isn’t the only time Sam has displayed a different side of himself online. Back in August 2021, the Waypoints author went on Instagram to give folks a glimpse of his travel fitness routine while taking a trip to Mexico.

Now, if only we get to see this side of him when Outlander returns for season 7 part 2 next year … in the meantime, we’ll have Men in Kilts to hold us over.
