Channing Tatum Reveals He Was ‘Completely Naked’ in One ‘Lost City’ Scene

Channing Tatum had to let it all hang out for one scene in his new action-comedy The Lost City.

The Magic Mike actor sends up his action hero reputation in the movie co-starring Sandra Bullock when he tags along as she tries to escape an evil billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe).

In a new featurette for the movie, co-director Adam Nee recalls how Tatum had to be “completely naked” on his second day of filming for a scene where he’d be covered with fake leeches. Yikes.

“Walking to set with a bunch of leeches super-glued to my butt, uhh, and not having met everybody, and just kind of being like, ‘I’m going to be butt naked. My name is Chan. This is just what it is’,” he recalled.

It only got worse for Tatum from there, as he recalled: “Then, to have Sandra Bullock have a two-page monologue with a certain part of my body.”

Sandra confirmed that she’d spoken “to it” during the scene, adding: “There was no weirdness! Like, you think that! Because he was so chill about everything.”

We’ll take your word for it, Sandy.

The comedy from the makers of indie hit Band of Robbers sends Tatum and Bullock through a dangerous jungle to find a mythic Lost City before the evil billionaire Fairfax can do it first.
