Christopher Lloyd Will Make an Appearance in Season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’

The Mandalorian has got some beloved 1980s actors in its cast – Carl Weathers, Michael Biehn – as well as stars from cult-classic projects – Ming-Na Wen, Clancy Brown and Katee Sackhoff – and now it looks like it’s added the 1980s actor known for appearing in so many fan-favorite projects.

The Hollywood Reporter has stated that the legendary Christopher Lloyd is going to be a part of the upcoming third season of the Star Wars spin-off, which is currently filming in Southern California. His role hasn’t been disclosed, but it looks like it’s going to be a guest appearance.

Lloyd’s CV is huge, but he is best known for playing Fester in The Addams Family duology and Doc Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy, a role he’s reprised many times over the decades.

The Mandalorian season 2 ended with Luke Skywalker turning up and taking Grogu/’Baby Yoda’ away for Jedi training, while spin-off The Book of Boba Fett showed us some of that training, and brought back Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin/Mando for a few episodes.

Meanwhile, season 2 of The Mandalorian introduced Rosario Dawson as the live-action version of Ahsoka Tano, who is now getting her own spin-off.

We don’t know whether Mando will appear in the Ahsoka show, but Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy hasn’t ruled out the possibility of him or Grogu appearing in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi spin-off, although director Deborah Chow says the show is more prequel-focused.

One person who won’t be returning for season 3 is Gina Carno, who was fired after a series of controversial social media posts.
