Jennifer Garner Posts Throwback Swimsuit Video

Jennifer Garner really has the best response for everything, and her new swimsuit (nay, dolphin) throwback video posted to Instagram proves just that.

After the Golden Globes last week, White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge was asked in a post-award win interview about her ultimate dream role. In the most sincere and hilarious response Coolidge said, “I’ve always wanted to play a dolphin.”

Now, Garner is letting her know it is, indeed, possible to play a dolphin, as she has done so before in the 1998 reboot series, Fantasy Island. She posted a throwback video clip on Instagram where she sports a silver one-piece swimsuit walking out of the ocean—the scene prior showing her as a dolphin in the water.

Garner captioned the post: “Congratulations, @jennifercoolidge! Come play a dolphin with me. ????♥️.”

Fans flooded the 13 Going On 30 star’s comment section with crying-laughing emojis—one fan commented, “I literally cannot quit laughing. I watched this twice. This completes me.” Another wrote: “My two favorite Jens, this is actually gold ????❤️????.” And lastly, one fan called out what we might’ve all been thinking: “Girl, how long you have that in your back pocket, waiting?”

Jokes aside, Garner attracted plenty of admiration from followers for her swimsuit-clad role. Many wanted to know how she’s stayed in such great shape. And while the throwback video was filmed nearly 25 years ago, Garner hasn’t let up on her fitness journey. The star often shares glimpses into her intense leg workout routines, including some impressive box-jumping!

Garner’s trainer Beth Nicely, founder of The Limit—a dance workout method—recently told Shape that the actress “likes to work really hard; she’s very, very strong.” Nicely also literally called Garner “a professional athlete in what she’s capable of physically.” If you’ve seen the moves that she shares on social media, you would have to agree.

During a typical workout routine, Nicely and Garner tend to do a variation of plyometric box jumps, strength training arm exercises, and plank variations. The actress is constantly pushing herself, too. In one IG workout video, she jumped on both 12- and 18-inch boxes, as well as used a trampoline to target her full body. No one can deny that The Last Thing He Told Me star is one impressive fitness fiend.
