Kim Kardashian Joins the Cast of American Horror Story Season 12

American Horror Story has announced that its 12th season will star Kim Kardashian.

Creator Ryan Murphy unveiled the news in a short promotional video posted to Instagram. The clip also reveals that Emma Roberts will be returning to the anthology show.

The video and its caption offer a tiny tease about their characters, as text in seen in both reads: “Emma and Kim are Delicate.” Theories will surely take over the internet over the next few months until the full plot summary is released.

And while the subtitle for the season (like ‘1984’, ‘Double Feature’, and ‘NYC’) wasn’t unveiled, we were told that the season will premiere sometime this summer.

There were a wide variety of reactions to the casting news, but a large bulk of people weren’t exactly pleased with the news.

“Surely it’s Kim K who will bring down the quality of AHS,” one person wrote on Twitter,” with another adding, “kim k starring in AHS 12 just ruined my whole fucking day.”

Before the release of AHS, we’ll see Kardashian in the third season of The Kardashians, which recently released its first teaser trailer as well as its premiere date (May 25).

As for Roberts, an AHS regular, she’s set to appear in the upcoming Spider-Man spin-off movie Madame Web.

“What I can tell you is I’m not a superhero. Some people may think she’s a superhero but I don’t have supernatural powers,” she said. “It’s really different from any of the other Marvel movies — it’s super grounded.”

She continued: “I love that it has so many great actresses, it’s really female-driven, and I just think it’s not going to be what people expect.”

“I’m really, really excited for everybody to see it, and by the way, I’m excited to see it, because I only worked like a week on it, so there’s so much that I haven’t seen. I did get to see the storyboards and read the script, and it’s fantastic.”
