All About Nick and Danielle From ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 2

Love Is Blind is back for Season 2. Within the first few episodes, we already knew which couples we’re going to focus on, and which we’re leaving behind. Oh, and of course we’re betting on which ones will bring the most drama to the show, and which we actually think are going to make it past the social experiment.

So far the show’s major success story is Lauren and Cameron from Season 1. Not only were they the first couple to get engaged during the show, but according to their social media, and interview after the show, they seem genuinely happy together. And two years post-engagement, there’s no question their romance is the real thing. They even wrote a book together!

So in the newest season, all eyes are on the first couple to get engaged: Nick and Danielle. The two hit it off almost immediately, and quickly left the pods to enjoy their new life together. But as fans of the show already know, the pods aren’t the hardest part of the show. It comes later, when everyone begins to spend time together face-to-face during the honeymoon and in the show’s shared apartments. Although it looked like smooth sailing at first, who’s to say there won’t be drama for the first matched couple in the post-pod life?

In case you need a refresher of their journey, here’s everything you need to know about Nick and Danielle from Love Is Blind Season 2.

What Happened to Nick and Danielle?

The first to get engaged, Nick and Danielle had no hesitation in their engagement. And when they met for the first time, the attraction between the two only grew.

Things began to get rocky once they got to the honeymoon in Mexico, though. First, Danielle had a bit of a shock when she discovered Nick makes his own toothpaste…and body wash. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for her, but she secretly said she’d switch out his products and wouldn’t put up with it.

The real drama came soon after, though. After Danielle was stuck in the hotel room sick from apparently eating too much the night before, Nick went off to hang out with the other couples. While he was gone, Danielle’s mind began to race, and her previously mentioned insecurities around her weight loss and jealousy came bubbling back up. When Nick returned, she said she locked herself in the closet and cried.

In what looks like a classic case of miscommunication, Nick assumed he was being blamed for going out and having fun, and Danielle feared he had too much fun without her, and said she saw him walk down to the beach with another woman. They fight, then solve the issue off-camera. But as with any reality drama, the argument didn’t end there.

Over dinner, the two discussed moving in together, and an argument broke out again about the previous evening. Danielle explained that she had a panic attack, but Nick dismissed her anxieties. Still, the two stick it out for the entirety of the show, although it felt like they argued every time we saw them on-screen.

It looks like Nick and Danielle are one of the best matches we’ve seen so far in Season 2. There’s no drama involving other pairings, or fears they’re not attracted to one another. And what couple doesn’t have disagreements every once in a while?

Are They Still Together After Love Is Blind?

As of After the Altar, Nick and Danielle are still together! The couple said while filming the show they felt as if they were in a “pressure cooker,” where all their problems felt worse than they actually were. Going back into the real world minimized many of the fears they had on the show.

Since then, Danielle has moved into Nick’s apartment. The two have dance parties, wear silly costumes, and have already began to collect keepsakes from the memories they’ve made together. Looks like the first couple to get paired up actually did make it through the season.
