After an entire season of Love Is Blind, fans know the real drama comes in the reunion special, dubbed After the Altar. There, hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey grill the show’s couples on their decisions during filming, and we all finally find out if the romances we spent 10 episodes rooting for made it or fizzled out after filming.
This season’s couples–Nick and Danielle, Sal and Mallory, Iyanna and Jarette, Shayne and Natalie, Shaina and Kyle, and Deepti and Shake–had a dizzying mix of highs and lows. All in all, only two couples made it to the altar, and as of After the Altar, those two couples are the only ones together. Still, just because marriage wasn’t in the cards for everyone, doesn’t mean there couldn’t still be romance between cast members after the show.
During After the Altar, as the couples reflected on their relationships and why many of them didn’t work out, Kyle announced he “loved” Deepti, and wished he’d proposed to her in the pods. It was obviously a shock to the other cast members, who may not have all known about their relationship in the pods. Plus, the show largely edited Kyle and Deepti’s speed dating to focus primarily on the people they were going to become engaged to, rather than show any competing love interests, so the audience was completely caught off guard.
But now that both Kyle and Deepti are single, fans are wondering if the two are actually dating.
Are Kyle and Deepti From Love Is Blind Dating?
In an interview with Elite Daily, Deepti revealed she struggled choosing between Kyle and Shake in the pods, although the show didn’t air their dates. After filming ended, the two reconnected. And leading up to the reunion, the two shared flirty comments over Instagram. She and Kyle are now “figuring it out,” although Deepti currently considers herself single.
Whatever’s going on, we wish both of them the best.
