SO, YOU ski. Each winter you take a few days off around the weekend, fly to Aspen or even Switzerland, test your limits on the groomed pistes or powder, and possibly score a few new highs or lows before having one-too-many après ski beverages and returning home. Yeah, the world of skiing is exciting. But the market of skiing is a different story: You buy a pair of hardy skis and fitted helmet once every many years, because certainly, no need to switch things up if it ain’t broke. Unlike skiwear, there’s no drop or release up for grabs.
But as you know, the norm is meant to be broken. So, Bentley swooped in with a drift to shake things up by starting to make ski gear itself.

This is not the first time the luxury vehicle manufacturer hits the slopes. Since 2019, Bentley has been partnering with Bomber Ski, an artisan ski equipment maker, on limited-edition, collector-worthy skis. This time, Bentley and Bomber Ski turned it up with helmets and poles as well to fully gear you up. The result is a full capsule of expertly engineered ski gear that brings Bentley’s performance, precision, and elegance—a formula that equates to the ultimate excitement—to the slopes.

The ICE Edition Ski
Bentley’s latest ski stands in contrast to its two predecessors—the Centenary Ski and Black Diamond Edition ski: It shines in a sleek snow-white finish, in contrast to those two dark beauties. And the overall polished aesthetic makes the skis a solid collector’s item through and through, including a silver-plated 3D diamond-shaped texture that’s not only a looker (it’s akin to the patterns on Bentley EXP 100 GT’s leather seats), but also a doer that makes the ski itself more structurally sound and agile, regardless of the speed it’s working on.
In addition, the craft of Bentley Ice 84 is a special kind of tough. Made of compound and ABS sidewalls as well as Titanal and fibreglass wood core, the skis are nimble yet heavy-duty. No matter how you shred, they can handle it like a workhorse while ensuring a smooth run full of quick turns and floats.
However, even at this price and with such expert craftsmanship, these skis are not exclusive to the pros. Sure, sliding down the entire mountain at a high velocity in them seems a piece of cake, but they’re suitable for skiers of all levels and preferences, no matter if you prefer the green or black diamond slopes.

The Pole
A new addition to the Bentley x Bomber Ski partnership not seen in previous capsules is the ski poles. If you’ve ever been inside a vintage Bentley, at first look, the handle sure resembles the classic Bentley gear shifter. That elegance and sensibility, of course, are matched by a top-of-the-line engineer that uses carbon and aluminum to make the poles lightweight for better control but still robust for trudging through the piste. The soft leather grips also bring comfort to your hand movements, almost like you’re grasping a Bentley steering wheel.
The Helmet
Lastly, the collaboration has the helmet to literally top off your ski fit before hitting the first run of the day. Placing safety first, but without sacrificing style, it’s made of materials that are as lightweight as they are durable. Carbon, Kevlar fiber, and polystyrene in the helmet’s core minimize impact and yield high shock absorption for when you tumble and fall, which happens even to the best of us.
In addition, the helmet comes with a removable photochromic visor. In it, there are many cool feats you’ll want to take advantage of: An optimal field of vision, an anti-scratch and anti-fogging build, and a moisture-wicking, quick-drying interior, to name a few. But the coolest of them all is perhaps its “Solid Fragrance Release” hygienic system that keeps the helmet’s inside fresh.
Last but not least, let’s not overlook its style. Subtly brandishing the Bentley “B” wings on both sides, this helmet says, “if you know, you know” like no other. In fact, that vibe is felt throughout this capsule, and a real planker will know—hey, game recognizes game.
