Congratulations, Tori!

Tori is PUSH511’s December Member of the Month! Tori is a regular in PUSH’s afternoon group CrossFit classes and she is also a PUSH nutrition coaching alum! She shows up consistently and is always ready to put in the hard work day in and day out, which is why our team nominated her for Member of the Month. This is why our team loves having her at PUSH:

Tori always comes in and gives it her all. She’s fun to have in class and is eager to learn new things. Also, she’s giving it her all every single class, whether is a barbell day or straight up cardio.

Tori is an absolute force! Since day one she comes in ready to work, and it has definitely paid off. She’s also so personable and supportive of other athletes – everyone likes being in class with her. She’s an awesome person to be with for partner WODs – she will drag you along whether you like it or not!

TORI! There isn’t a bad thing to be said about this girl. She is determined, she is kind, and she is so fun to coach. She works hard outside of the gym at her job and comes into the gym to continue to get things done. I can’t wait to see where she is a year from now, when she is maxing out her lifts in her new NoBulls.

Always up for a challenge and comes at it with an excited, big positive energy. Tori has made tremendous progress since she’s been with us and I’m excited to see where she’ll be within a year more.

Tori is so fun to have in class! Tori is always bringing the energy, and attacks workouts with intensity! Her positivity is definitely contagious and really helps make for a fun hour when she’s in the building.

Tori is a gem of a human! She always comes in to work and gives 100%, regardless of how she is feeling that day. She is just a down-to-earth person and always gives out fun vibes when she’s in class. It’s been fun to watch her progress!

Now, let’s get to know our December Member of the Month!

When did you start CrossFit? I started the first week of January 2022.

What’s your fitness background? My entire life has been based around sports particularly lacrosse and field hockey. I played lacrosse in college and continue to coach for a girls lacrosse program in Baltimore. What’s your favorite CrossFit movement? Anything cardio LOL. I do love me some cleans and burpees.

What’s your least favorite movement? Snatches but I’m recently growing to like these. Anything with a lunge or being upside down, count me out.

Tell us a little about yourself and your family. I’m one of 4 – second youngest. I have a serious obsession with shopping that often gets me in trouble. I love hanging out with family and friends. My family is super close we are very loud and crazy. We have a beach house in Bethany Beach in Delaware where we spend a lot of our time in the summers and off-seasons.

Tell us something we don’t know about you! I’m a diehard Alabama fan, Roll Tide.

How has CrossFit affected your lift outside of the gym? Joining CrossFit has changed me physically and mentally. I’ve boosted my confidence and found my love for working out again.

What do you enjoy the most about PUSH? I love the community. It’s one of the main reasons I specifically joined PUSH. I insta stalked PUSH for monthsssss and finally I pulled the trigger and here we are! From the day I started everyone has been so welcoming and supportive. My highlight of the day is coming in and getting a good sweat in.

What tips would you offer to someone who’s just getting started with working out? Don’t compare yourself to others. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.

What’s your favorite song to work out to? Twerk music or Big Bootie Mixes.

What’s your favorite restaurant? Hands down, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood… at this point they should just sponsor me.

Who’s your hero, real or fictional? My sister, Shelby.

Tori Bruno Frequently Used Emoji Tab

Words to live by or favorite quote? Nobody Cares, Work Harder.

What’s your favorite travel spot? Anywhere with a beach.

If you could win an Olympic gold medal for any sport, real or fake, what would it be? Gymnastics, looks cool.
