Brooklyn Beckham Uses Entire Bottle Of Avocado Oil To Fry Chicken

IF YOU’RE LUCKY enough to have a bottle of avocado oil tucked away somewhere in your pantry, we’d like to guess that you break it out like you would a fine wine: sparingly and on special occasions. Unless, of course, you’re Brooklyn Beckham.

The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham has been met with ample criticism on social media after using an entire bottle of avocado oil to fry two pieces of chicken in a recipe video.

“We’re gonna make some fried chicken with Chosen Foods,” Brooklyn declared at the start of the Instagram video. A quick glance at the Chosen Foods website shows some bottles of avocado oil that cost as much as $25.99.

The aspiring cook was swiftly met with comments like “Thats a LOT of oil” and “Waste of everything.”

There were even those who would have preferred that he feed a small village with his oil instead of making a crispy, delicately seasoned piece of poultry.

“There are people dying in the world from starvation – you used enough oil and milk for about 20 people. But you wouldn’t understand that,” one person wrote.

Another user suggested that Brooklyn work to curb his avocado oil usage by enrolling in cooking school.

“The amount of that expensive oil you used was so ridiculous!!! Stop acting like a wanna be chef!!! Go to culinarily school and actually get a degree like all normal people have to do!!!,” they wrote.

On a lighter note, there were a few followers who commended Brooklyn on his use of avocado oil and offered words of positivity.

“Love using avocado oil to fry with. Avocado oil fry’s stuff so evenly and tastes wonderful! Keep doing your thing Brooklyn! Maybe one day you’ll have your own restaurant,” one user commented.
