Charlie Puth Teased His New Tour by Posting a Nude Thirst Trap

“You just want attention,” Charlie Puth once crooned in one of his better-known singles. And as it transpires, he’s not averse to a little attention himself.

The 30-year-old singer-songwriter has been gleefully sending Twitter into a thirsty frenzy this week with a series of nude photos which he seems to be using to promote an upcoming announcement. First he tweeted a mirror selfie in just his underwear, with his lean physique and abs on full display, and his hand placed carefully over his briefs to protect his modesty.

Then, a day later, he shared an artfully captured photo of himself entirely naked on an outdoor swing, turned so that his butt is facing the camera.

“What rhymes with Four?” he asked in the Instagram caption, perhaps hinting at the fourth single from his upcoming third album Charlie. Over on Twitter, he posted the same photo and simply said “Friday!”, which is when fans are expecting a new track to drop, or even dates for his next tour.

In a 2019 conversation with Men’s Health, Puth explained how getting serious about his diet and fitness has become an important part of his creative process, and that he tries to hit the gym most mornings before heading into the studio.

“I found that when I started working out, my music-making process got better, because I think my mind was less crowded,” he said, adding: “The moment I started eating healthier and not eating chicken fingers every day, I started coming up with ideas quicker.”

However, he also has clear ideas about his goals as far as his physique is concerned, having stated that he doesn’t want to get “too bulky,” even joking that he doesn’t want to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but instead find a “happy medium of just being cut and in shape.” And if these latest thirst traps are anything to go by, it looks like he’s found it.
