Dad of 12 Nick Cannon Wishes He’d Had Kids With Christina Milian

Nick Cannon is almost as well-known for his ever-increasing number of children as he is for his work hosting shows like America’s Got Talent and The Masked Singer, and the father of 12 faces his fare share of jokes and speculation on the subject.

In November 2022, he responded to tabloid claims that his outgoings included $3 million in child support each year. “I definitely spend a lot more than [$3 million] on my children annually,” he said. “I don’t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of child.”

Cannon has 12 children with six different women: 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with Mariah Carey; 6-year-old Golden Sagon, 2-year-old Powerful Queen and 6-month-old Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell; 6-month-old Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole; 1-year-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and 4-month-old Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; 3-month-old Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott; and 8-month-old Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi.

However, in a conversation with The Shade Room‘s Thembi Mawema, Cannon revealed that there is one of his exes with whom he didn’t have children, and he sometimes finds himself wondering what might have been: singer and actress Christina Milian, who he dated after they met while filming the 2003 romantic comedy Love Don’t Cost a Thing.

“I remember when I found out she was pregnant,” he said. “Did I have kids yet? I don’t know, but I was like, dang man… I was so happy for her. I remember we was kids in love early on, and so we talked about that, but to each his own. Life plans it out. The universe gives it how it’s supposed to be given.”
