As a brand, one of Allbirds’ major tenets is sustainability: Many of its products are made from naturally derived materials, like eucalyptus-based lyocell, merino wool, and its trademarked SweetFoam soles. The latter replaces the typical environmentally hazardous EVA with its sugarcane-based EVA, which
the company touts as the first of its kind.
