On Running, the Swedish sportswear brand known for its high-tech sneakers, is going high fashion.
Earlier this week, On Running partnered with luxe fashion house Loewe to launch a splurge-worthy capsule collection comprised of cool, gradient workout pants, performance T-shirts, and (of course) running shoes to make you the best dressed guy at the gym, or the trails.
Since British designer Jonathan Anderson took the reins at Loewe in 2013, he’s transformed the stately Spanish leather brand into a modern cultural label that speaks to how millennials dress now, without losing the brand’s attention to highly intricate designs. Technical is how we’d also describe On. Launched in 2010, it engineered a running shoe with a Cloud 9-like cushion, a shock-absorbing outsole, and a propulsive Speedboard that’s won awards and a cult classic status among hardcore marathon runners.

“They were just really good for my feet,” Anderson told the Financial Times about his love for On. “Great support, very lightweight. And they go really well with everything,”
Given that we’re all wearing athleisure these days, this limited edition line is a match made in fashion heaven.
And we can’t argue with the collection’s results, featuring 26 items inspired by the outdoors. Its three-layer parka features Sashiko-inspired needlework that looks like a starry night. Temperature-regulating Tees, wind-resistant joggers, and On’s flagship Cloudventure and Cloudrock athletic sneakers have a gradient finish in earthy hues of orange, blue, and brown. You can mix and match these pieces for a look that can hold up during the most rigorous run, and still look good doing it.
“A lot of people will wear a coordinated look to go running or hiking, and I like that,” On’s designer Alex Brunner told the Financial Times. “I hope the collection inspires people to go out and explore.”
Prices range from $390 to $1,300. The collection is available online at Loewe and On Running while supplies last. Ahead are some of our favorite pieces from the line, curated by Men’s Health Fashion Director Ted Stafford.
