Spider-Man: No Way Home star Jamie Foxx has broken his silence following his recent hospitalization.
The actor was admitted to hospital last month, with his daughter Corinne revealing he had been taken to hospital after an unspecified “medical complication.” Three weeks later, Foxx has now shared a brief update with his followers via Instagram.
“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” he wrote.
Several famous faces responded to wish him well, including Hawkeye‘s Jeremy Renner, who recently recovered from a snowplow accident, who commented: “Sending you strength and love.” Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel also commented with a praying emoji.
Jumanji‘s Kevin Hart gave an update on his friend’s progress during an episode of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, and though he revealed he did not know specific details of the medical emergency, he does know that Foxx is recovering well.
“They’re [Foxx’s family] being tight, for reasons, just about where he is, because Jamie’s always been a private person to a certain degree,” said Hart. He’s getting better in his situation, and you know, everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy – all that stuff is seen and felt. To my knowledge there’s a lot of progression and a world of better, man.”
He added that his “love, synergy, [and] energy goes out to him.”
“He’s needed, he’s necessary,” said Hart. “I know that he knows that, and I know that he feels that because there’s been an outcry, an outpour of support in this regard. So, I can only hope that it continues.”
