Actor Jonathan Majors certainly gets his reps in at the gym—and recent shirtless pictures of the actor on the set of Creed III will surely inspire you to do the same.

The 32-year-old actor is currently filming his Creed franchise debut as a mysterious villain set to face off against Micheal B Jordan‘s Adonis Creed. In behind-the-scenes photos taken on March 29, Majors shows off his pecs and biceps while working out (in character) on the beach. Art clearly imitates life because Majors is massively ripped, thanks to countless days in the gym no doubt.

In the pap photos, Majors—who wears black sweat shorts and combat boots—can be seen testing his upper body strength while gripping two vertical ropes during a training sequence.

Majors is also seen chatting with Jordan between takes, as Jordan is not only starring in Creed III but directing it. The film marks Jordan’s directorial debut. (He looks like a seasoned pro.)

Though we know Majors’ villainous character will face off against Jordan’s famed Adonis Creed, not much else is known about the plot of Creed III. Screen Rant reports that Tessa Thompson will return as Bianca in the third installment of the franchise, which only makes sense given her character was engaged to Adonis at the end of Creed II. Sylvester Stallone’s time with the franchise, however, is all but confirmed to be over by both Stallone and Jordan.

For those somehow unfamiliar with the boxing film franchise, Jordan stars as Adonis Creed, son of Rocky Balboa’s opponent-turned-friend Apollo Creed. The Rocky reboot franchise is set to release its third much-anticipated film later this year after the first two films made $170 million and $200 million in the worldwide box office, respectively.
