Love Is Blind is back for Season 4. The Netflix hit doesn’t always find true love for its numerous cast members, but it definitely brings drama. In Season 3, the show went to Dallas to match up various Texas singles. Two of the couples–Alexa and Brennon and Colleen and Matt–are still together and excited to spend the rest of their lives together. Meanwhile, the rest of the matches we saw (including the much talked-about couple Raven and SK) are not together.
Although people can binge the show if they want, Netflix knows the mounting drama throughout is what keeps people coming back. To stretch out the season means every slight or blowup feels extreme and causes a conversation among the audience. Still, Netflix also knows their audience can’t watch just one episode, so episodes are released in batches. There’s enough to get people hooked, but not enough that they know where the season is headed. It turns out reality television works well in the binging structure.
Season 4 heads to Seattle, where the show hopes to pair up couples in the Pacific Northwest… or find couples who definitely shouldn’t be together, but they make really good television. The new batch of singles are a fascinating bunch. Some are looking for a partner who share their religious ideals, others are looking for people ready to start a family, and some people are simply searching for someone to have a good time with. To keep up with the twists and turns the Netflix show will throw at us, here’s when each batch of episodes will premiere.
