It’s here, finally. Netflix’s hit dating show Love Is Blind is back with 30 more singles set out to prove love isn’t entirely about the way you look (although all the contestants are conventionally attractive).
In case you forgot the show’s premise, 30 people are put into pods to “date” people, and eventually get engaged… without ever seeing each other. It’s a strange and outlandish idea that unfortunately, with a global pandemic going on, no longer seems that strange. The proof of the show’s sort of success is also shown in the successful pairing of a few of Season one’s couples like Lauren and Cameron. We’re not saying it’s the future of dating or anything, but the dating apps aren’t that far off.
Not every single on the show gets a happy ending, of course. As expected, only a few pairings make it through the bizarre premise and manage to foster a real relationship. Still, it’s fun to meet all the potential couples and guess who’s going to end up with who before the show’s over.
