MIRANDA LAMBERT DOESN’T cease to amaze fans with her impeccable fashion and success in country music. But she occasionally likes to give folks a look at life pre-fame, like she did while commemorating a recent holiday.
As a way to celebrate Easter, the “Actin’ Up” singer uploaded a throwback photo from her childhood to Instagram. In the captured moment, followers saw Lambert holding a homemade bunny cake while wearing an oversized T-shirt and a blue scrunchie that was popular in the ’90s. Aside from sharing the heartfelt preteen image, she used the post to drop a message about her latest venture away from music.
“Happy Easter Y’all!” she wrote on April 9. “This bunny recipe has been in my family for a long time and it’s one of the ones we shared in my new cookbook Y’ALL EAT YET?”
Since “The House That Built Me” songstress doesn’t often give glimpses of life before her musical career, folks loved seeing Lambert from this stage of life. They had a lot of thoughts about it in the comments, with one general theme sticking out.
“Excuse me but we need a remake of that Easter bunny cake and picture ????❤️,” one person wrote. “Look at this cutie!! ????,” another follower replied. “This may be the most adorable picture of you we’ve ever seen,” a different user exclaimed.
If this is Lambert’s way of enticing foodies to buy her debut cookbook, we sure love it. ICYMI: The upcoming book, hitting shelves on April 25, features treasured family recipes and stories from Lambert and the women that helped raise her, per a press release.
This also comes on the heels of her potentially scooping up four trophies at the upcoming 2023 ACM Awards on May 11. Among the titles she’s up for are Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year.
Now, if Lambert decides to post another throwback in celebration of a major win at the country music event, it goes without saying that folks will be thrilled to see it on their feed.
