*NSYNC Star JC Chasez Debuts New Silver Fox Hairstyle on TikTok

Of all the social media platforms out there, TikTok undoubtedly skews the youngest, but that doesn’t mean Gen Xers can’t have their fun on there too. The latest celebrity to join the app is JC Chasez, otherwise known as one fifth of one of the most famous boybands of all time, *NSYNC.

“How’s this shit work?” Chasez asks in his first ever video, as he gets to grips with TikTok, before the clip cuts to the chorus of perhaps the most famous *NSYNC song, ‘Bye Bye Bye’. The singer then asked “Am I doing this right?” in the caption for the video, tagging in his former bandmates Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone.

The video also marks a different kind of debut for Chasez. After rocking the salt and pepper look for some time, the 46-year-old pop star appears to have fully embraced the silver fox look and grown out his naturally gray hair.

While going gray can really affect some men’s confidence, leaning into it can also be empowering: it’s not just a sign of age, but of experience. There’s even research that indicates members of the opposite sex find gray hair on guys attractive.

Many celebrities like George Clooney, Richard Gere, Matt Leblanc, Eric Dane, Hugh Grant, Pierce Brosnan and Taylor Kinney have proven that you can still look distinguished as hell while sporting a salt-and-pepper or silver fox hairstyle. Most recently, Will Smith showed off his naturally gray curls while on vacation with his family.

Thinking of growing out your gray hair? The trick is to give it time and attention. Examine the color and sheen of your locks, and then find the haircare products that will make it look its best. And as gray hair can often be coarse or wiry, maybe consider a slightly shorter, sharper ‘do.
