Ricky Martin Stripped to Just a Towel in an Instagram Thirst Trap

Ricky Martin may have shot to fame for livin’ la vida loca, but he also knows how important it is to relax and practice self-care. The Puerto Rican singer posted a series of photos to Instagram over Memorial Day weekend, illustrating what an average couple of days off look like in the Martin household. And that mostly looks like it involves drinking coffee, relaxing on the couch, and bathing.

In one post, Martin posed after a shower in just a towel, teasing fans by showing just his lower half—including his lean calves and tattoos—in a photo set to the iconic song “Feeling Good” by jazz legend Nina Simone. “….and so my day begins, and I’m feeling good,” Martin wrote, adding in Spanish: “Empieza mi día. Con fuerza.”

The replies from Martin’s many fans in the comments were, somewhat predictably, on the thirsty side, with one follower writing: “Que se le caiga, que se le caiga,” which translates to “Let it fall, let it fall,” while another put it slightly more strongly, saying: “EL MUNDO PIDE QUE SE CAIGA ESA TOALLA,” or: “The world asks for that towel to be dropped.”

May has, indeed, been a thirsty month on Martin’s Instagram: a week ago, he shared a photo in a tight white T-shirt, reclining on his bed and flexing one jacked bicep, prompting variations of “te quiero” to come flooding in.

He even has a shirtless mirror selfie pinned to the top of his Instagram feed. Man knows exactly what he’s doing.
