There’s a wide range of Amazon Prime Day fitness deals you can take advantage of, and let this be one of them: Right now, Peloton bikes like the Original Bike and the Peloton Bike+ are up to 21 percent off, meaning you can save up to $300 off the popular connected exercise bike. If you’ve been waiting for Peloton bikes to drop in price, now’s your time. This is the lowest price we’ve seen for a Peloton since Black Friday.
Exercise bikes like Peloton are a fantastic indoor cardio workout if you don’t like treadmills, which can take up a large amount of space and get noisy. We were stoked when the Peloton first became available on Amazon, and we’re just as excited now that the coveted fitness device is getting included in Prime Day deals.
The Original Bike, which is seeing the larger price drop of the two, has a 22-inch HD touchscreen that displays your class, stats and more. The screen’s angle is easily adjustable depending on who is riding and the rear-facing speakers let you clearly listen to the instructor’s guidance and music without headphones. You can change your resistance by turning the knob on the body of the bike to keep up with class.
Now, the Bike+ was reviewed by our Men’s Health fitness editors, and earned high remarks. The biggest differences between the Original Bike and the Bike+ is the screen size (the Bike+ has a 24-inch screen), the sound system and Auto-Follow. Auto-Follow will adjust your resistance automatically along with the instructor’s, so you can focus on your ride versus focusing on setting your resistance. You can also fully rotate the screen, giving you access to the bike’s display system for workouts beyond cycling classes, since the Peloton app offers other options like yoga, strength training, meditation and more.
You’ll still have to shell out $44 per month for a Peloton app membership to take full advantage of classes, but it’ll come easier knowing that you saved up to $300 on the bike itself. Home gym equipment can get pricey, so it’s good to strike while the iron’s hot and you can take up to 20 percent off your long-awaited Peloton purchase.
