How to Properly Wash a Polo Shirt

Maximizing the lifespan of your polo is going to come down to how you wash it. Make sure you’re using a gentle detergent, then set your wash to cold water. If you’re washing a white polo, make sure to toss it in with other whites to avoid any chance of bleeding.

To avoid any stitching coming undone or your collar getting all chewed up, we have a method for you. All you have to do is fold your polo inside out and make sure to extend the collar so it lays out flat (doing so will make sure the collar doesn’t roll up into itself all weird).

Also, do not use a fabric softener on your polos, as it can damage the polo’s weave or knit. And when it comes to drying, skip the machine and place your polos on a hanger to air dry!
