This Sleek Nugget Ice Maker Is 22% Off on Amazon

What’s not to love about Sonic ice? It’s light, crunchy, and absorbs the flavor of whatever beverage we’re drinking. Luckily, nugget ice doesn’t have to be relegated to our favorite fast food chains anymore. Now we can make it ourselves, right in our own kitchen. The only downside is that nugget ice makers can be expensive. But thanks to Amazon, one of our favorite nugget ice makers is available for less.

Now 22% Off

The NewAir countertop nugget ice maker is on sale for 22 percent off on Amazon right now. This means that the typically $450 ice machine is now $100 cheaper, putting it on par with some of the best budget-friendly models.

Though perhaps it doesn’t have the cult following that the viral GE Profile Opal nugget ice maker does, the NewAir model is still one of our favorites, in no small part because of how sleek it looks. While many nugget ice makers lead with a stainless steel look, this one is entirely black, save for the small window in the front where you can see a blue LED light illuminating the ice.

Its visual appeal doesn’t come at the cost of quality, though: It can pump out 44 pounds of ice each day, and once it’s ready to go, the ice will begin flowing in 10 minutes or so. Plus, the ice machine has a drawer that easily pulls out for you to serve yourself. It even comes with an ice scoop.

Though this nugget ice maker will take up a little bit of counter space, its stylish appearance, ability to hold up to 1.5 pounds of ice, and, of course, its delightfully crunchy pellets of ice will make it a welcome addition to your kitchen or bar. Just be prepared to host your friends and family when they find out you can make Sonic ice at home.
