Tom Brady has been living his best life since retiring from the NFL in February this year. He’s spent quality time with his kids, partied with famous friends, and embarked on a new romance with model Irina Shayk. But he’s also staying in strong, field-ready shape.
In a recent Instagram Story, the former quarterback posed shirtless in the sun, showing off his lean physique and abs. He even teased a possible return to pro football.
“Side effects of @tb12sports protein,” he wrote, in a not-so-subtle nod to his own TB12 protein powder. “Mid august rolls around and you start thinking about finding a training camp to show up to.”
We’re pretty sure he’s kidding about the training camp—like, 99 percent sure—but you can never be certain with Brady. After all, this is the guy who famously un-retired just weeks after first leaving the sport in March 2022, and signed a $15 million contract to play one more season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So hey, anything is possible.
This isn’t even the first time Brady has deployed a thirst trap in order to draw attention to one of his entrepreneurial ventures in the aftermath of his athletic career. Earlier this year, the newly single QB hinted that he was ready to get back out there after announcing his split from Gisele Bündchen—and conveniently plugged his Brady Brand underwear collection at the same time—by posting a shirtless mirror selfie to Twitter.
