*Spoilers ahead for Too Hot to Handle season 5*
Another season of Too Hot to Handle has just ended, and just like the seasons before it, there were plenty of horny singles, plenty of rule breaks, and in a heartwarming twist, plenty of personal growth as the cast examined their commitment issues, parental trauma, and fear of vulnerability. Throughout the season, there were a number of connections, but by the finale we only had two established couples, with one additional couple that got sent home early. Here’s what we know about Too Hot to Handle’s couples from season five.
Which Too Hot to Handle Season 5 Couples Are Still Together?
Alex and Elys
Alex was interested in Elys from the get go, but she paired with Hunter in the first couple of episodes, leaving Alex to get to know Megan. Pretty soon, Elys realized that she had a stronger connection with Alex, and during a date she decided to swap the two gentlemen out for each other. Alex and Elys were then together for the rest of the season, and while things went well for them, (including that $36,000 kiss), things got a bit weird after the guys went for a workshop where they confronted the issues that made them reluctant to get into relationships.
Alex realized that if he and Elys got serious, he may have to cut back on traveling and only thinking about himself, but on their next date, Elys assured him that they could do that together. She then asked him to be her boyfriend, and even though he gave her a reluctant “yes,” by the end of the season Alex seemed happy that the two were together, and they even exchanged I love yous. Upon a preliminary examination of their Instagram, it looks like the couple is still following each other, but we haven’t seen any updates on if they’re still together
Hannah and Isaac
This couple came together midseason after Hannah dumped Louis for kissing Christine while they were together. She then tried to move on to Trey, but he wasn’t interested, so she set her sights on Isaac. Isaac had been partnered with Courtney in the beginning of the season before callously and coldly dumping her for newcomer Yazmin — but once Hannah showed her interest he then savagely dumped Yazmin by getting into bed with her, dumping her and then hopping into bed with Hannah.
Hannah and Isaac were pretty open about the fact that they solely felt a physical, and not emotional, connection with each other and they openly said that they were going to break the rules. But before that could happen, Lana intervened and sent the two of them home for not being serious about the retreat. Since they never talked about exploring anything outside of the villa, we can assume that Hannah and Isaac are not in a relationship.
Louis and Christine
This couple racked up the most fines, and they also had the most up-and-down experience on the show. Christine and Louis agreed to spend the first night in bed together, but he instead slept next to Hannah and partnered with her. However, this didn’t deter Christine as she and Louis later shared a nighttime beach kiss. After Hannah and Louis broke things off, Christine and Louis decided to give it a try, and their emotional and physical connection grew each day, especially after trials like when they spent a night in the private suite without touching each other, and when Christine stayed loyal on a date with newcomer Trey.
Sadly, Louis didn’t show that same loyalty to Christine, and he shared an intimate moment with Linzy when he was picked to go on a date with her. This broke Christine’s heart, but after Louis showed some initiative in being more open about how he felt, the two decided to give it another try. As for where they are now, things seemed a bit murky as Louis straight up told Christina that he might not be the guy for her, but he then backtracked and said that he wanted to move forward with her, before making sure to clarify that they were not boyfriend and girlfriend, which seemed to disappoint Christine. Louis and Christine have been spotted hanging out with other members of the cast but not with each other, so we’ll keep an eye on their pages to see if anything changes.
