Warning: The following post contains spoilers for Netflix’s Love Is Blind and Love Is Blind Season 2.
Love Is Blind is back for another season, and along with the dating experiment’s memorable structure of having participants get engaged before even seeing each other, there’s one other constant fans are noticing in the show: the Big Metallic Glasses.
We first noticed the ridiculously large drinking cups (or maybe chalices are a better word) in season 1. Jessica and Mark used the metallic wine glasses at their very cold-looking outdoor dinner. Amber and Barnett used them by the fire pit. Kenny and Kelly used them on the dock. Lauren and Cameron used them in the treehouse. Everybody used metallic wine glasses at the joint bachelor party.
And in the first five episodes of season two, already the Big Metallic Glasses are back with a vengeance. On both the men and women’s living quarters in the pods, on the couples’ trip to Mexico, and now the shared apartment where we’ll finally see if any of these new engagements will actually pull through. Hint: it’s not looking good for most of them. Still we know we can believe in the love the prop department has for those giant, medieval-looking golden wine glasses.
On Twitter, Love Is Blind fans also couldn’t stop talking about the strange and wonderful props.
