Fit: Since seersucker suits rely on the distance created between the fabric and your body to ventilate, your seersucker suit jacket or pant should not fit you too tight, which is why a classic fit is always the go-to. But many brands today now make seersucker suits in slim, tailored, and athletic fits that look more elevated without hugging you too tight, thus still letting you breathe.
Color: Seersucker suits can come in any color, and often exist in striped or pinstripe patterns, and sometimes checkered. But as casual suits, they look and work the best when they’re in tones that are more easygoing: such as beige, khaki, light blue, and light grey. However, if you’ve got lots of formal meetings to attend in the summer, it’s not a bad idea to get a seersucker suit in dressy hues like black, navy, and dark gray.
