Look, we know this movie doesn’t have the best reputation. But to that we say: give it another chance. Sure, there are some goofy parts here and there, but at the end of the day, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a pulpy, Steven Spielberg-directed, Harrison Ford-starring, Indiana Jones movie. It’s fun! And while things certainly come off the rails at times, the first 30 minutes are genuinely fantastic, up there for any stretch of that length in the entire franchise. And, oh yeah, aliens figure into this thing prominently.
