As the host of Watch What Happens Live and Bravo’s many Real Housewives reunions, Andy Cohen loves the occasional stunt or play for attention. And his latest is for a very good cause.
The TV and radio host just posed naked on Instagram, recreating a nude photo shoot he originally did with photographer Spencer Tunick back in the early Nineties, as part of an EltaMD Skin Care campaign to raise awareness of the risks of skin cancer and encourage people to use sunscreen and get regular checks with a dermatologist.
Cohen was 24 years old in the original photograph, with long, dark curly hair. 30 years later, now 54, his hair is famously short and silver—but he is still in great shape while sunning himself and flaunting his lean physique.
“There are moments in my life where I am trying to lose weight for something, and unless that’s happening I try to indulge within reason,” he told Today‘s Hoda Kotb in 2019. “I just don’t believe in denying myself.”
While he enjoys most things in moderation, Cohen did lose weight after reducing his alcohol intake in 2020 as part of his commitment to living a healthier and more active lifestyle after becoming a father.
“I think that Andy prioritizes his health right now more, and his healthy lifestyle, and he started eating cleaner, healthier,” said Cohen’s personal trainer, Stanislav Kravchenko. “He cut down on drinking as well.”
And those changes are visible in the new photo, with his visible six-pack abs on full display.
